About Me

Hello! I'm Romney Funderburg, I'm a May 2021 Wayne State University graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Photography

I've always had a love and niche for the arts, even when it got to a point where it got me in trouble with my school work when I was in my youth.

​

The concept of photography has always resonated with me, being able to capture a moment in time and the particular moment can last forever as an actual visual rather than just a memory. And photography as a hobby has always ran deep in my family, so being able to carry that on is pretty dope to me.

​

My personal work mainly revolves around my interests and joys, like sneakers, clothing, my friends and family. My work that I've done for my education leans towards more social and political themes, mainly towards the urban black experience, and my perspective of it.

Even though my major passion is photography, I also enjoy graphic design, which you can see some of my work here as well!
